If you are looking for some wholesome movies for your children, especially ones that encourage the importance of faith and love, your children and you may enjoy Iesodo Yay-Sa-Doe series: Where Fun and Faith Take Flight by Tony Oliver.
In case you are wondering what Yay-Sa-Doe means, it is;”The Way of Jesus.” The goal of these TV episodes is to bring the New Testament stories to life in a whole new way.
Iesodo Yay-Sa-Doe: Faith
This DVD contains 2 episodes:
- Miracles are Everywhere– Birds gather from all over the world to meet Iesodo, but find that food is scarce and the birds are hungry. Iesodo is able to provide for the birds in a way that no one expects!
- The Wind and the Rain-The flock of birds get blindsided by a sudden storm. Faith is what brings them through being stranded at sea.
Iesodo Ya-Say-Doe: Love
This DVD contains 2 episodes:
- Birds of a Feather, Fish Together-A wedding between characters; Freddie and Fiona is headed for a disaster. Iesodo is there to save the day making everything come together smoothly.
- Love your Enemies-A known tax collector is known for not following the rules. Iesodo lets the flock know about the importance of being kind to one another.
My soon-to-be 5 and 7-year-old really enjoyed both movies and they said they learned the importance of helping each other and faith. I recommend the children’s movies for ages 2-9. My 10.5 year old said it was cute, but was bored with it as she said it’s for the younger ages.
