Sky Pony Press is pleased to announce a new middle-grade novel:

The McVentures of Me, Morgan McFactoid – Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow by Mark Waxman.

Meet Morgan “McFactoid” McCracken, a 13-year-old aspiring inventor whose main goal in life is to invent a product that will stop his facial hair from growing. In this middle-grade novel, Morgan is very busy trying to avoid a school bully, invent and also get the girl of his dreams. Not an easy task for a nervous 13-year-old who spews out fascinating facts whenever he gets flustered living up to his nickname “ Mister McFactoid”, whom his sister calls him.

Of course Morgan’s dream invention is to aid in the eliminating of the need to shave to save people time, energy and money and also to make himself wealthy enough to pay off his family’s debt. Experiment after experiment, Morgan fails to invent the product of his dreams that will stop facial hair, but instead, he creates a product that will grow hair. See how this new invention makes Morgan the talk of the town. Will this invention help Morgan with his bully? Will Morgan become rich and famous? Will Morgan get his “dream girl”? Gotta read this one to find out!

All in all, The McVentures of Me, Morgan McFactoid is full of adventure and surprises along the way that would be appealing to both boys and girls. This book is intended for ages 8-12 (grades 2-7) and a very good and quick read with age appropriateness. It can be purchased at Amazon or Barnes & Nobles.
