The only way an organization can continue helping others and serving its mission is through support from others. Individuals, businesses, and organizations in the community choosing to support the non-profit charity help make it possible for them to continue their work. Miracles for Kids is celebrating 20 years of community support that has helped them continue their mission of helping children with life-threatening illnesses.

“The ongoing support we get from the community is everything,” explains Autumn Strier, co-founder of Miracles for Kids. “We could not do what we do without the support we have received over the last 20 years. We are grateful for so much support that we have had the opportunity to help so many families.”

Launched in 2004,

Miracles for Kids was created to help families who are struggling due to their child’s life-threatening illness or condition. Over the last 20 years, they have helped families by helping them pay essential bills, providing pro-bono medical care for uninsured family members, providing long-term housing assistance, delivering monthly baskets and boxes to help supply families with basic food needs, and hosting wellness activities for families.

They have helped over 2,100 families in the last 20 years.

Their efforts have been possible through donations from over 10,000 donors and 30 corporate partnerships. They also host successful fundraising events throughout the year. Some of their standout supporters include:

“We thank everyone who has supported our efforts through financial donations, volunteering, and more,” added Strier. “What we do is truly a community effort, and we are humbled to have had such amazing support for two decades. We look forward to many more years of being able to help people.”
