Actor Mark Pillow, ‘Nuclear Man’ from Superman IV to Make Special Appearance in Metro Detroit

Meet and Greet with Fans at Sarge & Red’s Toys and Collectibles on September 8th.

Mark Pillow, the actor known for his role as Nuclear Man in 1987’s Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, will be making a special appearance at Sarge & Red’s Toys and Collectibles in Utica, Michigan, on Sunday, September 8th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In Superman IV,

Mark Pillow starred alongside legendary actors Gene Hackman (Lex Luthor) and Mariel Hemingway (Lacy Warfield). This film marked the final time audiences saw Christopher Reeve don the iconic Superman costume. Fans attending the event will also have the rare opportunity to take photos with the original screen-worn Nuclear Man costume, adding an extra layer of nostalgia to this special occasion.

Reflecting on his time on set,

Pillow shared in an interview with The Caped Wonder Superman podcast on iHeartRadio that working with Christopher Reeve was an unforgettable experience. “Chris just took command,” Pillow recalled. “He slipped into that outfit, into his costume, and he just became Superman. There’s just no doubt about it.” As the release of the highly anticipated documentary Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story approaches, Pillow added, “Like everyone, I can’t wait to see this documentary that celebrates the incredible life and legacy of Chris.”

For fans unable to attend the event in person,

Mark Pillow is offering an online autograph signing through his recently launched website, MarkPillow.com. Fans can place their orders by September 6th, and Pillow will sign the items while in Detroit, ensuring they are shipped directly to fans after the event.
