These activations can be found this December at multiple indoor and outdoor locations throughout Metro Detroit. From the magical pathways of Glenlore Trails to the lively streets of downtown Detroit, Bluewater is using technology to create unforgettable experiences this holiday season.
Each distinctive activation,
showcases how the team at Bluewater is able to transform any ordinary space into something extraordinary by using cutting-edge audio-visual technology and unparalleled storytelling. The team at Bluewater is trusted to design, install, and support innovative technology solutions that will elevate any size space. They are dedicated to developing brand activations and interactive experiences that communicate culture and engage audiences.
Aurora at Glenlore Trails is a magical night walk experience powered by Bluewater Technologies. Itis Michigan’s largest and longest illuminated walk-thru forest experience. This holiday season Aurora will blend technology with nature creating a magical hands-on adventure throughout a one-mile long forest.
Visitors will encounter touch-sensitive light installations, motion-triggered displays, enchanting holiday sounds, interactive games, and a special twist – magic wands that let you unlock hidden surprises along the trail.
Bluewater Technologies uses interactive LED walls, projection mapping, synchronized audio systems, and responsive lighting to provide a narrative and theme that will captivate people of all ages. Aurora runs Thursday through Sunday nights starting at dusk until Sunday, December 29, 2024. Glenlore Trails is located at 3860 Newtown Road in Commerce Township.
Over the past seven years,
Downtown Detroit has become a winter destination with its collection of unique holiday-themed shopping, dining and experiential offerings. This year, in partnership with Bedrock’s Decked Out Detroit, Bluewater Technologies will install interactive window displays depicting a wintry scene with reindeer and other animals that come to life when approached at 1401 Woodward Avenue. Along that same downtown strip, the Magical Musical Bells use sensors to allow visitors to play holiday tunes using nothing but their hands. Remix Detroit’s Holiday Takeover is providing guests with a free, interactive, holiday-themed music lab experience. Powered by Bluewater Technologies, Remix Detroit features a rotating soundboard of beats. Every Thursday through Sunday until Dec. 29, guests are able to experiment with melodies and lights as they rearrange and alternate illuminated spheres and turntables to create custom holiday-inspired lightshows. (Remix Detroit Hours: Thursdays & Fridays 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Saturdays 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., Sundays 12:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.).
Bluewater Technologies,
has enhanced some of The Detroit Zoo’s annual Wild Lights installations including the “Stepping Tones’ which feature projected snowflakes that visitors can step on and create music. The “Tube Light Show” consists of 550 LED light tubes programmed to sync with holiday melodies. Additionally, the interactive “Jungle Vine Harp” and projection mapping at the Polk Penguinarium add an extra layer of magic to the zoo’s festive offerings.
Bluewater Technologies,
is powering Santa’s Flight Academy at nine premier shopping centers including Great Lakes Crossing Mall inAuburn Hills and at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi. During Santa’s Flight Academy, guests will find that tradition meets technology with interactive features like Santa’s Magic Mirror.
