WHAT:

Glenlore Trails, Michigan’s largest and longest illuminated walk-thru forest experience, is excited for you to bring your entire family out this weekend for a magical visit with Santa before you head out on the immersive and illuminated one-mile trail walk through the forest.

This year’s Winter Wonderland theme, “Aurora” blends technology with nature creating a magical hands-on adventure throughout the forest, that is perfect for all ages. Visitors will encounter touch-sensitive light installations, motion-triggered displays, enchanted holiday sounds, interactive games, and a special twist – magic wands that let you unlock hidden surprises along the trail. “Aurora” commonly known as the northern lights or southern lights, is a natural light display in the Earth’s sky, and that is the experience that will captivate guests under a shimmering sky of brilliant lights, as they venture into the forest of Glenlore Trails. Aurora is unique one-of-a-kind Holiday Winter Wonderland experience, exclusively at Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township.

The creative force behind Glenlore Trails is Michigan based and woman owned, Bluewater Technologies, one of the most trusted event staging and AV integrators in the country. For the last five years, Bluewater and their award-winning team have transformed the natural forest landscape into an immersive wonderland using interactive LED walls, projection mapping, synchronized audio systems, and responsive lighting. They implement technology that supports the narrative and theme of each seasonal activation, bringing life to the forest, fully immersing and captivating guests, and providing an unforgettable immersive night walk experience.

Each night, starting at dusk, the one-mile forest trail will come to life with a dazzling display of lights, sounds, and wonder. Glenlore Trails is an outdoor experience, that takes approximately one hour to complete and is set up along a one mile wooded, manicured (not paved) trail. Glenlore Trails Aurora’s Winter Wonderland experience makes for an unforgettable family outing, a fun-filled hangout with friends, or a magical date night.
