Beth, a selfless 67-year-old woman from Bay City, Michigan, was recently granted her ultimate Christmas wish to experience Christmastime in New York City, see the Rockettes and more.
This is all thanks to Beth’s granddaughter Shelbi and Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime, a charitable affiliate of AARP that grants life-changing wishes to older adults and inspires people to redefine aging in America.
Beth has made it her mission to spread joy and kindness during the holidays every year.
She volunteers at middle and high school sporting events and organizes Thanksgiving feasts for the entire school community, pouring her heart into serving others.
Christmas is her favorite time of year, during which she bakes cookies and treats for families in need and those facing illnesses, including cancer. A few years ago, she even sponsored a struggling family to ensure they had plenty of presents to open on Christmas morning.
Now, Wish of a Lifetime is giving Beth’s Christmas spirit back to her by making her ultimate dream come true: experiencing the magic of Christmastime in New York City and seeing the Rockettes.
