8,858 Reviews Agree: Michigan’s Big House Among America’s Top 10 Stadiums

A new study by the social casino website McLuck has identified the best-rated stadiums in the U.S., with Clemson Memorial Stadium in South Carolina taking the top spot.

The research analyzed stadiums with a capacity of over 25,000, ranking them based on the percentage of five-star reviews on Google.

Clemson Memorial Stadium, home to the Clemson Tigers, came out on top as the nation’s favorite, with an impressive 91.42% of its 2,819 Google reviews being five stars. With one recent five-star Google review stating that it is a “Great stadium to watch a game. Clemson fans are very welcoming people. Tailgating is top notch. Running out on the field is a great experience you should enjoy while you’re here. Many stadiums don’t allow that. Hope you enjoy your next Clemson Tigers football game“.

Ranking in second is Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, where the Texas A&M Aggies play. With 90.24% of its 3,259 reviews being five stars, Kyle Field is renowned for its massive seating capacity of 102,733 and for being one of the five largest stadiums in college football. It also has the largest seating capacity of the top 10 stadiums ranked.

Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, takes the third spot with 90.15% five-star reviews out of its 20,551 total reviews, the highest number of reviews of the top 10 stadiums listed. This stadium is the historic home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. Some of the five-star Google reviews also recommend walking around to see the museum and the whole stadium.

Fourth place goes to the 250,000 square-foot Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, home to the Kansas State Wildcats, with 90.14% five-star reviews from 1,613 total reviews. Included in those five-star reviews, it is mentioned, “There isn’t a bad seat in the house. Parking is plentiful. The fans are amazing. The energy in Bill Snyder Family Stadium is insane. If you haven’t experienced it, you need to”.

In fifth place is the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where the Alabama Crimson Tide play, receiving 89.67% five-star ratings from 5,497 reviews. The stadium has a capacity of 100,077 and opened in 1929.

Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia, home to the Georgia Bulldogs, ranks sixth with 89.56% five-star reviews from 3,239 total reviews. The stadium, with a capacity of 93,033, is the ninth-largest football stadium in the NCAA.

Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, home to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, comes in seventh with 88.85% five-star reviews out of 4,735 total reviews. It is nicknamed “The Sea of Red” due to most fans wearing red clothing on game day.

Eighth place goes to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, home to the LSU Tigers, with 87.63% five-star reviews from 3,776 total reviews.

Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, also known as “The Big House,” ranks ninth with 87.42% five-star reviews from 8,858 total reviews. It is the largest stadium in the U.S. and the third-largest in the world.

Rounding out the top ten is Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, home of the Fighting Irish. It received 87.13% five-star reviews from 4,956 total reviews.

Top 5 lowest-rated US stadiums

At the other end of the rankings, RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., received the lowest percentage of five-star reviews, with only 44.54% of its 1,098 reviews being five stars.

FedExField in Landover, Maryland, home of the Washington Commanders, ranks near the bottom with 50.96% five-star reviews out of 7,400 total reviews. Fans have talked about dissatisfaction with the stadium’s amenities and overall game-day experience in the reviews.

Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, known as the “Old Gray Lady,” received 55.63% five-star reviews from 2,062 reviews.

Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, received 59.64% five-star reviews out of 7,893 total reviews.

Oakland Coliseum, in Oakland, California, has 59.66% five-star reviews from 11,859 total reviews.
