Michigan’s Largest and Longest Running Pop Culture Event, November 14-16, 2025, at the Suburban Collection Showplace!

 NOVI, MI (November 2025) – Motor City Comic Con (MC3), is Michigan’s largest and longest-running pop culture convention since 1989 and hosts this iconic event twice a year, each Spring and Fall.  Motor City Comic Con is taking place November 14-16, 2025, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. This event is known as one of the premier conventions in the United States and the ultimate destination for all things pop culture, entertainment, and the celebration of creativity.  In addition to an amazing lineup of celebrities, artists, and vendors Motor City Comic Con will feature special activations and events throughout the weekend.

Motor City Comic Con,

will feature some of the largest actors from television, movies, and streaming platforms, along with the most creative artists, writers, and comic book creators in the industry. Throughout the three-day weekend celebrity and comic guests participate in autographs and photo opportunities with attendees, for additional fees. Some celebrities will have presales for autographs and photo ops available on the website and some celebrity guests will have those opportunities available on site at the convention as well. Attendees can also participate in various panel discussions, attractions, events, and explore various exhibitors. Artists, writers, and illustrators will also be featured throughout Artist Alley over the three-day convention. In addition, there will be crafters that will have extraordinary gifts, crafts, and replicas available, and some of the largest comic book and multimedia dealers from across the country that offer a variety of merchandise including comics, toys, art, unique jewelry, clothing, memorabilia and much more! Fans can also expect the traditional favorites such as Cosplay Contests and kid-friendly activities, along with many more events and activities.

Following their appearances at the convention, Twilight stars, Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale), and Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) will be hosting a Q&A Panel followed by a special movie screening of the 2008 original Twilight at Emagine Novi.  Tickets for these screenings are $40 each. This event is only open to Motor City Comic Con guests and admission to Motor City Comic Con is not included in the special event ticketed price.

Cosplay Contest (13+) 

Saturday, November 15 at 5:30pm

Open to ages 13+. There will be two divisions: The Cosplay Showcase and the Craftsmanship Competition

Prizing will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners. Prizing includes $125, $250, and $500 winnings as well as Comic Con passes, Autographed Photos, and MC3 Exclusive goodies. Registration has closed.

iCon Tournaments: Super Smash Brothers Ultimate-Based Gaming Lounge

RIW’s Hobbies Tabletop Game Room

For $5 you can check out the Game Room where there will be over 70 difference games to play over the course of the weekend. RIW will also be hosting different events including intro to Dungeons & Dragons, Basics of Magic the Gathering, Magic the Gathering Commander Tournaments, and Learn to Play:  Calico, Ticket to Ride Europe, Ultimate Werewolf, 7 Wonders, Welcome To…, Blood on the Clocktower, and Point Salad. The League of Enchantment’s mission is to work together with local hospitals and community organizations and events to bring hope and smiles to kids. Visit their booth and get some fun photos with them and their cosplayers.

On-site authentication for signatures signed at the show or brought from home. Trusted by all major auction houses, dealers and collectors, any autograph backed by JSA certification enhances the value and marketability of the item. Stop by the authentication booth after meeting the celebrity guest to redeem certification. Collectors may also submit autographs brought from home.

Kids Den

Open to kids 12 and under. Find kid and family friendly programming and activities in our Kids’ Den: crafting, daily story time, games, and more! The Kids Den will be open Friday 1:00pm-5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm.

Kid’s Cosplay Contest 

Sunday from 3:30pm-4:30pm

Come out and strut your stuff and show off your costumes! No registration or fee is required, just

arrive 15 minutes before the event starts to be sorted into age groups. Open to kids 12 and under.

501st Star Wars

They will be out on the floor all weekend taking photos and interacting with guests. They will also host some special activations throughout the weekend.

Blast A Trooper

For a $1 donation to the Make a Wish Foundation, guests can fire a Nerf gun at a Storm Trooper.

Story Time & Character Meet

Saturday from 2:30pm-3:00pm

Join the members of 501st and Rebel Legion for a Star Wars themed story time complete with character meet and greets!
