WHAT:
Eastern Market will host its annual Flower Day on Sunday, May 17, 2026, continuing a decades-long tradition that brings together hundreds of local growers, small businesses, and thousands of visitors. Coordinated in collaboration with the Metro Detroit Flower Growers Association, Flower Day features a vast selection of flowers, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, and shrubs grown by top regional growers.

Flower Day Merchandise: Visitors can commemorate this year’s event with exclusive
Tuesday & Saturday Markets: To ease traffic and extend access, Flower Tuesday Markets will be held on May 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Sheds 5 and 6. Vendor offerings will also be available daily in Shed 6 from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day, with additional plant selections offered during Saturday Markets throughout the season.
