FILM SYNOPSIS:
DOG MAN
When a dog and a police officer are injured together on the job, a life-saving surgery changes the course of history when Dog Man is born. Half dog, half man, Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve – as long as he isn’t distracted by squirrels – as he doggedly pursues his arch-nemesis: the feline supervillain Petey the Cat. But the rivalry between Dog Man and Petey is upended by the arrival of an adorable kitten clone of Petey, Lil Petey, who changes the game for both of them. With humor, hijinks and heart, Dog Man explores the power of love (and kittens) to bring even the most hostile (and hairy) foes together. Rated PG.
SHREK 2
After battling a fire-breathing dragon and the evil Lord Farquaad to win the hand of Princess Fiona, Shrek now faces his greatest challenge: the in-laws. Shrek and Princess Fiona return from their honeymoon to find an invitation to visit Fiona’s parents, the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Far, Far Away. With Donkey along for the ride, the newlyweds set off. All of the citizens of Far, Far Away turn out to greet their returning Princess and her parents happily anticipate the homecoming of their daughter and her new Prince. But no one could have prepared them for the sight of their new son-in-law, not to mention how much their little girl had changed. Little did Shrek and Fiona know that their marriage had foiled all of her father’s plans for her future—and his own. Now the King must enlist the help of a powerful Fair Godmother, the handsome Prince Charming, and that famed ogre killer ‘Puss In Boots’ to put right his version of “happily ever after.” Rated PG
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON
On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast, Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society. Rated PG
THE BAD GUYS 2
In the action-packed chapter from DreamWorks Animation’s acclaimed comedy smash about a crackerjack crew of animal outlaws, our now-reformed Bad Guys are trying to be good but instead find themselves hijacked into a high-stakes globe-trotting heist, masterminded by a new team of criminals they never saw coming: The Bad Girls. Rated PG
THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS
A comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. Rated PG
TROLLS
Poppy, the optimistic leader of the Trolls, and her opposite, Branch must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known. Rated PG
A MINECRAFT MOVIE
Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity doesn’t just help you craft, it’s essential to one’s survival! Four misfits – Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, Henry, Natalie, and Dawn, find themselves struggling with ordinary problems when they are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into the Overworld: a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they’ll have to master this world, while embarking on a magical quest with an unexpected, expert crafter, Steve. Together their adventure will challenge all five to be bold and to reconnect with the qualities that make each of them uniquely creative…the very skills they need to thrive back in the real world. Rated PG
THE LAND BEFORE TIME
From Steven Spielberg and George Lucas comes the animated classic that started a global phenomenon. Go back in time with Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, and Petrie – a group of very different young dinosaurs who find themselves thrown together when the world around them quickly changes. With one common dream of making it to the lush, legendary Great Valley, they quickly learn that they’ll need to overcome differences and trust each other in order to survive. Rated G
KUNG FU PANDA 4
After three death-defying adventures defeating world-class villains with his unmatched courage and mad martial arts skills, Po, the Dragon Warrior, is called upon by destiny to…give it a rest already. More specifically, he’s tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. That poses a couple of obvious problems. First Po knows as much about spiritual leadership as he does about the paleo diet, and second, he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new lofty position. Rated PG
SING
Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, SING stars Buster Moon, a dapper Koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal optimist-okay, maybe a bit of a scoundrel-who loves his theater about all and will do anything to preserve it. Now facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Rated PG
THE IRON GIANT
“Iron Giant” is based upon the 1968 story, “Iron Man” by the British poet Ted Hughes. The film is about a giant metal machine that drops from the sky and frightens a small town in Maine in 1958, only to find a friend named, Hogarth, that ultimately finds its humanity and saving the towns people of their fears and prejudices. Rated PG
THE WILD ROBOT
The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot-ROZZUM unit 7134 “Roz” for short – that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. Rated PG
