Michigan Based BORN IN™ Apparel Expanding into Louisiana with First Licensing Partnership

BORN IN™ APPAREL ANNOUNCES EXPANSION INTO LOUISIANA.

Detroit-based apparel brand will open storefronts and launch new LA apparel line through licensing partnership with plans to expand in additional states.

 Michigan owned and operated Born INTM Apparel, LLC,

known for their celebrated Born IN DetroitTM lines of apparel and accessories, has just announced their first licensing partnership that will also expand the Born INTM brand into a new state with the launch of Born IN LouisianaTM  The new apparel line will be opening storefront locations on local Louisiana college campuses with plans for the first location to open this summer, along with offering an online store that can service customers throughout the continental U.S. The first store location along with the launch of the online store will be announced soon.  Following the Louisiana opening, Born INTM Apparel, LLC plans to finalize additional licensing partnerships across the country with plans to announce more states over the next year.

 

Born IN DetroitTM was launched in 2020 and reflects the vision and passion of two sets of brothers, Anthony and Michael Tomey and George and Alex Bourkoulas, who were all Born in Detroit. The dynamic and rapidly growing lifestyle brand has quickly become a beloved name, celebrated for its distinctive blend of fashion, community spirit and Detroit pride and has since become synonymous with Michigan. Their selection of merchandise from t-shirts to hats, hoodies, bags, glassware, and more feature the classic Born INTM Detroit logo and a rotating collection of seasonal and limited designs and provide Detroit natives, visitors, and proud Michiganders countless ways to showcase their love for the Motor City.  In recent years, Born IN DetroitTM  has officially licensed apparel for Michigan sports teams Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and Pistons, along with several colleges including the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and Oakland University, and non-profit organizations. Born INTM Apparel, LLC has also extended their local pride outside of Michigan through Born INTM t-shirts for Ohio State University, Boston, and Pittsburg. Now, Born INTM is moving south to Louisiana.

The Born INTM Louisiana line,

will mark the first licensing partnership for Born INTM Apparel.  Louisiana licensee partners Bradford Banta, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Stephen Van Hook from Jennings, Louisiana, recognized a kindred spirit in the pride that conveys through Born INTM Detroit with the same sentiments of loyalty held by Louisianians.  Under their leadership, the launch of the Louisiana line will feature apparel and merchandise all with the classic Born INTM logo incorporated into new designs that spotlight the uniqueness of Louisiana, including Born IN Louisiana, Born IN Da Boot, Born IN Baton Rouge, and Born IN Nola, just to name a few.  Aligning with the original mission of Born INTM, the merchandise will honor Louisianians’ pride in their home state and display their support for the Louisiana culture and people.
