The Detroit Jazz Festival returns September 4–7, bringing thousands of music fans downtown for Labor Day weekend. Just a 15-minute walk from Hart Plaza, Greektown Detroit is keeping the music going with Jazz & Culture Weekend, featuring three evenings of live music, DJs and outdoor dining along the newly transformed Monroe Street.
From Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6, visitors can stop by from 6–10 p.m. each evening for:
- Friday 9/4: Guitarist Eric Watson + music from DJ WJZD Radio
- Saturday 9/5: Live performance by the Trono Hudgins Band + music from DJ WJZD Radio
- Sunday 9/6: Saxophonist Alan Day
