The leaves are falling, the air is crisp—and that can only mean one thing in Lenawee County: it’s time for Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival!
Bring the whole family to Downtown Tecumseh on October 10–11, 2026, for a weekend packed with autumn fun for all ages.
Kids can enjoy midway rides and carnival games, inflatables, bungee jumping, helicopter rides, and more. Free activities include make-it-take-it crafts, a corn box and kids’ putt-putt golf. Wristbands for all-day midway access will be available; pricing is still to be announced. Helicopter rides will accommodate up to three passengers per ride, with pricing to be determined. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Explore the Arts & Crafts Show, featuring wonderfully handcrafted creations, and visit one of three stages for live performances throughout the weekend. When you’re ready for a bite, enjoy favorite fair foods or relax with a delicious meal at one of Tecumseh’s restaurants.
Be sure to shop local, too—many Tecumseh businesses will offer Appleumpkin weekend specials and savings.
The festival is held in conjunction with Kapnick Orchards Apple Festival. Take the free shuttle to the orchard and enjoy fresh apples, cider and donuts, wagon rides, live entertainment and more than 80 craft booths.
Free parking is available in and around Downtown Tecumseh, as well as at Tecumseh High School, where a free shuttle will take festivalgoers downtown and to Kapnick Orchards Apple Festival.
The weekend kicks off Saturday morning with the 29th Annual Kelly Carter & Thomas Leffler Memorial Scholarship 5K at 8 a.m. Sign up at carterruns.com.
Voted Lenawee’s Best Community Festival from 2016–2025, Tecumseh’s Appleumpkin Festival is a fall tradition you won’t want to miss!
