WHAT
Tickets are on sale Tuesday, October 6, 2026 for Glenlore Trails’ winter experience, AURORA: Winter Wizards. Glenlore Trails continues to be Michigan’s largest immersive and illuminated walk-thru forest experience, transforming a one-mile forest trail in Commerce Township. Glenlore Trails is known for creating over the top experiences, with new enhanced themes each year. This winters’ theme, Winter Wizards, is an immersive adventure that promises to be the most enchanting experience yet – a holiday tradition reimagined each year with new experiences and expanded magic! This family friendly event runs from November 20 to December 27, 2026. Guests can journey along the illuminated mile-long wooded path every Thursday through Sunday evening, discovering a glowing whimsical experience under the stars.
During Aurora: Winter Wizards, guests are invited to step into an enchanted forest where every visitor becomes part of the story. As you journey through an illuminated forest, your presence and interactions help the Winter Wizards push back the gloom threatens to dim the spirit of the holidays. They battle the gloom with spells and with song, but they’ll need you to keep their magic strong. Magic wands let you reveal hidden moments and awaken extra magic along the path. Each wave of your wand strengthens the Wizard’s power and brings new surprises to life!

The creative forces behind Glenlore Trails are Michigan based and woman owned, Bluewater Technologies, one of the nation’s leading event staging and audiovisual integrators. For the past seven years, Bluewater’s award-winning team has transformed the natural forest landscape into an immersive destination by combining advanced technology creative storytelling, and seasonal design. Through innovative lighting, projection, interactive elements, and synchronized audio, the team creates an environment where the forest becomes part of the story, surrounding guests with sights, sounds, and moments of discovery throughout the trail.
Glenlore Trails’ one-mile forest trail takes approximately one hour to complete and is located along a wooded, manicured (not paved) pathway. The experience can accommodate strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs with larger wheels, though visitors should be aware that the surface may be more challenging for smaller wheels.
The event runs every Thursday to Sunday at dusk beginning November 20, 2026, and will take place rain, shine, or snow offering a unique experience no matter the weather. Glenlore Trails Aurora: Winter Wizards makes for an unforgettable experience for anyone looking to celebrate the holiday season in a one-of-a-kind environment. It’s perfect for family outings, fun-filled hangouts with friends, or entertaining date nights.
Glenlore’s gathering areas offer merchandise, group seating, food trucks, and seasonal treats to be enjoyed before or after your walk experience.
