Shimmer and Splash: The Sparking World of Sea Life Book Review

These facts are all explained in detail.  The great thing about this book as that author Jim Arnosky weaves in his personal sea stories, sharing how he watched a shark reeled in one spooky morning and how he and his wife watched two fiddler crabs fighting on a mound of sand at the beach.  This book is perfect for the marine-biologist-in-training or anyone who is fascinated by all creatures of the sea.  The book is complete with seven fantastic gatefolds.

 The illustrations in Shimmer & Splash are awesome!  The fold-outs will definitely attract a child’s eye. My girls love this book.  It’s such a great educational tool.  So much fun!
