Are you too Busy to Cook?

Let’s face it, life is busy!  Unfortunately, we tend to look for shortcuts.  Prime example…cooking at home.  Granted,  it is so much easier to pick up something  (such as pre-packaged food), where all you have to do is nuke it in the oven and microwave.  This can easily become an unhealthy habit instead of taking the time to actually cook a healthy and nutritious meal. Home-cooking is becoming a thing of the past in homes. Why wouldn’t it be when parents are getting home late from work or picking kiddos up from basketball or hockey, etc into the late hours? This shortcut is cutting into the health of many families.  What changes can be made?

There are a lot of excuses in the book for not cooking, but there are also a lot of ways to work around this dilemma:

Planning ahead can increase the health of your family and the sanity of what to cook each night.  Give it a try!  It works wonders at my house!
