Are you making some plans with the family this weekend? Check out Detroit’s big Meridian Winter Blast event if you get a chance.  It starts Friday, February 7th and goes through Sunday, February 9th, 2014.  The weather is looking cold, yet decent and dry, perfect for winter blast excitement.

What is expected at the Meridian Winter Blast? You most definitely will not be disappointed.  Here is what is in the line-up:

  • Events and Activities such as Music Stages, Taste of Detroit, Buick Snow Slide, Ice Garden, etc.!
  • Radio Disney
  • Kiddie Carnival
  • Hands-On Science Fun Stations

and much more including roasting marshmallows…yum!

Admission into the Meridian Winter blast can be done in one of three ways:

  1. Three Canned Food Items
  2. One Children’s Book
  3. $2 Donated to Help Those in Need (Matrix Human Services)

Awesome!  I would love to take my family down.  It’s a great way to chase away those winter blues.  Might as well make the most of it while it’s here.
