Meghan Marion Opens in Downtown Royal Oak

As Meghan Marion opened its doors on Wednesday, July 16, downtown Royal Oak was greeted by a refreshing dose of old school charm mixed with high-end style.  The boutique stands out as downtown Royal Oak’s only contemporary clothing store to carry brands like 7 For All Man Kind, Sanctuary, BB Dakota, and Michael Stars.

Behind it all is 26-year old Royal Oak resident and Bloomfield Twp. native, Meghan Hart, who returned home from Chicago in 2013 to pursue her dream of owning her own clothing store.  After working in both large and small store environments, Hart wanted to create a luxurious yet attainable retail environment that provides the big brand names and product quality of the larger stores, but maintains the personal comforts of the smaller boutiques.  Meghan Marion does just that, and then some.

Furnished with estate sale finds, chandeliers, and warm rustic tones, the store creates a cozy abyss, allowing customers to feel comfortable and confident while trying on the newest designer finds.  Hart goes above and beyond to provide the utmost hospitality, offering customers a glass of wine or champagne to sip while perusing.  She also offers complimentary styling services.

” Whether it’s that trusted pair of jeans that hug your body just right or the intricate top that always gets complimented, what we choose to wear each day has a direct effect on the way we feel,” said Hart.  “I have created an inspiring, feel-good environment that women can evoke whenever they wear the clothes from our store.”
