One of the fastest growing restaurant chains is opening its first shop in Roseville, Mich. Potbelly Sandwich Shop (32457 Gratiot Ave.) brings its good vibes and great sandwiches to the neighborhood with its newest location to open on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

More than providing delicious food and a great place to eat, Potbelly is passionate about the neighborhood and giving back to the community. To celebrate the opening, join Potbelly on Friday, March 27 from 11am-1pm and again 5pm-7pm for its traditional Oven Warming grand opening event where customers can enjoy great grub and 100% of donations at the door will be given to Roseville Community Schools to raise funds for their great work.

Roseville residents now get to experience Potbelly’s friendly staff and down to earth culture while listening to local musicians and enjoying warm sandwiches that have been created the same way since 1977. Its irresistible menu of toasted sandwiches, fresh salads, baked cookies, and, of course, hand-dipped milkshakes are made by friendly folks behind the counter who make customers feel like home.

BACKGROUND:

  • Antique Shop, Turned Sandwich Shop – First shop was started by a young couple who owned a quirky antique store and decided to serve lunches and provide live music to their customers. Little did they know that the simple sandwiches served in a unique atmosphere would turn into “The Best Place for Lunch.”
  • No Two Potbelly Shops are Alike – Potbelly provides a unique dining space that is rooted in the community. Customers will find little touches, quirks and local artifacts inspired by the surrounding neighborhood.
  • Potbelly Stove in Each Store – Though Potbelly shops are decorated to reflect their surrounding communities, each shop has a common feature – a real cast-iron potbelly stove that has been a symbol of the brand since its inception.
