Here is a fun event that was just sent over:

Fabulous food, sensational shopping and decadent deals are the makings of a perfect night out with the girls, and the Village of Milford makes it easy with its biannual Ladies Night Out! Round up your gal pals and head to downtown Milford from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.

Ann Barnette, executive director of the Milford Downtown Development Authority, boasts that downtown suits a variety of interests and tastes with its collection of stores and restaurants. “Ladies Night Out is the perfect opportunity for locals and visitors to explore the downtown shopping district and experience what makes our Village an Oakland County destination,” she said.

Strolling models, giveaways, discounts, complementary snacks and beverages make this evening an exciting girl’s night out, while previewing the latest trends in clothing, furniture, gifts, accessories and more.

During their visit, shoppers can collect stamps on the official Ladies Night Out postcard at any of the 35 participating businesses. Attendees who collect 10 stamps may enter to win one of 40 gift certificates, worth at least $20 each, by dropping the completed postcard off at any participating location.

“Each year hundreds of women bring their mothers and daughters, sisters and aunts, and cousins and friends to enjoy an evening of lady luxury together in the Village,” said Wendi Skolnik, Milford Business Association president and owner of Nana’s Niche and Corner, one of the participating businesses. “We’re thrilled to continue this community tradition and bring family and friends together for another successful event.”

Visitors are also welcome to travel downtown early to enjoy specials at Milford’s exquisite eateries, including Milford House Bar and Grill, Gravity Bar and Grill, Palate, Smoke Street Barbecue and more.
