Bio

Chef Brigitte Nguyen is a career-changer who left corporate accounting to cook the books in the culinary industry. After culinary school and several restaurant jobs, she jumped into food competitions on two seasons of Food Network’s “Ultimate Recipe Showdown” hosted by Guy Fieri and won the $50,000 grand prize in the National Chicken Council’s cook-off. She now works in national and local food TV, hosting on Cooking Channel and in her home state of Kentucky, where she created “The Kentucky Proud Kitchen,” a weekly cooking show that features simple recipes that highlight locally grown and produced ingredients. Brigitte has hosted over 200 episodes of the show and continues to produce new content every week, in addition to developing recipes and creating branded entertainment for large food clients. Chef Brigitte is passionate about encouraging cooking at home with approachable, delicious recipes that use affordable, high-quality products.
