The Karris Family {Book Promotion}

I received a copy of “The Karris Family” ($18.03 value on Amazon) in exchange for this promotion. Any opinions expressed here are honest and my own.

Family dynamics, sibling rivalry, broken families….we all have it or HAD it at one time in our families.  Families are unique and ever changing and in this story….Leah is tired of being in the middle of it all with her family.  They argue, fight, work too much, lack respect, etc and she’s tired of the disconnectedness with the busy schedules of the family.  Leah longs for the picture perfect family…and thinks she finds it in her cousins’ home in New York.

During Leah’s visit to New York to see her cousins, she learns a lot about other families and their dynamics.  She also learns when she returns to her family that there are lessons to be learned for all and that some things can change and some will always stay the same, but in the end…they are all family.

Author, Ruani Chhabra, of only age 11 does a great job at her young age to inspire other children and teens about family problems.

The Karris Family is intended for middle schoolers and is a good chapter book that can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Xlibris.

About the Author

About the Author Ruhani Chhabra has been writing since she learned how to grip a pencil. She is a 11-year-old girl who wants to teach literature when she grows up. She loves swimming with her friends and having fun in general. Ruhani wrote this book to express her feelings about her own family that remains too busy to interact with one another. She currently lives with her parents and teenage brother in California. She based Fred on her own brother, except her own brother is a bit busier than Fred. Ruhani hopes The Karris Family will be used as advice for kids who have the same problem as Leah.

  1. it is really very good book i have ever gone through. writer has done wonderful job for teaching the families who are being drifted apart from each other owing to the minor differences in family life .she is very right when she says FAMILY IS FAMILY and if we all keep this thing in our mind I bet no problem can arise and even if it does, we can gracefully tackle it and make our home heaven
