Pregnancy and Infant Loss………Awareness

Pregnancy and Infant Loss………Awareness

October is a precious month for our family as it is “Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.” It’s a time to remember our precious babies whether they passed away from miscarriage, still birth, or lived a short time on this earth.

Today I would like to honor and remember our son Brandon Michael.  He was born and passed away on August 3, 2005 from Trisomy 13 which is a chromosomal defect. He lived for 15 short minutes on this earth.  We don’t grieve for a baby anymore, we long for and miss what our 11-year-old boy would be like now. We are missing all the fun things he would be doing with his mommy, daddy, and sisters.  We know he’s safe in heaven and we will get to hold him again. Miss you, sweet boy!

Who are you remembering today? Could be your precious child, grandchild, niece, nephew, etc. Please honor them with their name and date they passed away in the comments section of this post.  If the baby was a miscarriage and you didn’t get to find out their gender, please feel free to give them a name (a boy name and a girl name). They are still your baby!

God bless you!
