Have you heard of the StrapCaddy? It’s a hands-free device designed to work with any seat-belt, anytime. It was created by Will Gorham, a retired veteran and engineer. The goal of this product is to help drivers communicate safely with family and friends without worrying about holding the phone.

I was given the opportunity to review a product called the StrapCaddy. StrapCaddy is a new hands-free phone holder that attaches to any seat belt. It allows drivers use their smartphone’s speaker and mic without obstructing their view or forcing them to take their eyes off the road. The StrapCaddy snaps on and off so that people don’t have to pause their conversations. It’s also small enough to fit in a purse so it’s always on hand for renting cars.

My experience with the StrapCaddy was good overall. The product took a few minutes to install onto my seat belt. Once I got it installed, I realized this product is one that would need to stay installed as it cannot quickly be taken on and off.

The product easily slides allowing you to adjust placement & allowing your seat belt to retract when getting out of the car. My first phone call experience I had already pre-placed my phone in the Caddy before I started driving.

When my phone began to ring I was forced to look down at my chest to answer the call and place the call on speaker. I wasn’t sure if this was the best way to use the product so the next time I kept my phone in my cup holder. Once I received a call, I answered and placed it on speaker and went to place my phone in the StrapCaddy. It didn’t slide in as easily as I expected it to so I had to wait until I approached a red light to properly install my phone.

I suppose after multiple uses the product would allow more flexibility and allow the phone to be placed with ease. I would suggest answering calls and placing your cell-phone into the Strap Caddy while the car is stopped to make sure that the intended purpose to reduce distractions is achieved. Once the product is in place it works wonderfully to keep you hands-free while driving! The StrapCaddy is a wonderful product for someone who spends a lot of time in the car. I appreciate the opportunity to review this product.
