My take on the book:
Grabenstein does another great job keeping middle schoolers (ages 8-12) engaged in his new wacky book, Welcome to Wonderland #2 Beach Party Surf Monkey. In this book and along with his other (Welcome to Wonderland Home Sweet Motel), Grabenstein seems to keep the book rolling with unexpected twists and turns that actually had me not wanting to put the book down. At the end of the book there is also more “Outrageously Ridiculous and Occasionally Useful Stuff” like “P.T. and Gloria’s Unofficial Movie Credit Survival Guide” and “P.T. and Gloria’s Fact or Fiction Quiz – Movie Edition” to add more crazy fun and Wonderland “Knowledge”! This book is just clean fun and age appropriate for middle school readers and the pictures every few pages give a great highlight of what is being read. Great summer book for those young readers looking to read this summer. Copies available today!
