Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern to Donate Profits on September 18 to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma Relief

Rusty Bucket will partner with sister company, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, seeking to raise $150,000

COLUMBUS, Ohio (September 13, 2017) – Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern today announced that the company will donate all profits on Monday, September 18, to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Rusty Bucket, in partnership with its sister company, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, will host the one-day fundraiser to support those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma with the goal of donating together more than $150,000. The funds raised will help provide food, shelter and other emergency supplies to victims of both hurricanes.

“The devastation Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have caused is horrific,” said Gary Callicoat, president, Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. “It was important to our associates to come together and find a way to help. This donation to the American Red Cross will allow us to provide support to Texas, Florida and other affected areas as they recover from these events and work to rebuild their communities.”

In addition to donating profits from sales, each restaurant will also encourage guests to make donations. On September 18, for every $50 donation made to the American Red Cross at Rusty Bucket locations, the company will provide guests with a $10 promotional gift card valid toward any food purchases on their next visit.
