Downtown Milford Unwraps the Holiday Magic Nov. 16th

The Big Reveal kicks off the holiday season followed by Dinner’s On Us and the Christmas Open House

WHAT: The community is invited to Downtown Milford for an evening of holiday fun at The Big Reveal. During the event, the community will help unleash the holiday magic by tearing open gift wrapped storefronts to unveil festive holiday scenes displayed behind the paper. What’s more, the Milford Downtown Development Authority will begin its giving season by surprising and delighting guests dining at Main Street restaurants. From 5:30 – 9 p.m. every Thursday through December 21, unsuspecting guests will have their dinners paid for through the Dinner’s On Us program funded by friends and merchants of Downtown Milford.

The reveal begins with a countdown starting promptly at 6:30 p.m. Arriving early is encouraged to see the gift wrapped windows.

OTHER HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS:

On Thursday, Nov. 30, Santa’s sleigh will land in the Village of Milford during the annual Christmas Open House. The seasonal event brings strolling entertainment, horse drawn carriage rides, carolers, as well as deals and retail promotions to Downtown Milford as Kris Kringle makes his way to the Village Center Mall abroad a Milford Fire Department fire engine. The event takes place 6 – 9 p.m. and Santa comes to town at 6 p.m.

SANTA: Santa will listen to children – naughty or nice – during visiting hours from 6 – 9 p.m. every Thursday and 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Saturday until December 21 at the Village Center Mall. Bringing your own camera to capture the memories is encouraged.
