Pediatricians advise against bulky winter coats coming between your child and the car seat harness. The extra bulk of the fabric creates a space between the harness and your child’s body which can affect the safety of the car seat. But how many parents take the time to undress their kids in the car?

Buckle Me Baby Coats is an ingenious mom-invented solution to the problem of safely securing your child in a car seat in the winter.  Dahlia Rizk, a single mom of three, redesigned her daughter’s winter coat to feature an off-center zipper and break-away shoulders to allow you to open the coat and strap your child into their car seat as if there is no coat on at all. The back is thinner as well.
Buckle Me Baby Coats have been crash tested at an independent university crash test facility where they not only outperformed traditional puffy coats but they also tested similarly to no coat at all! The coats, which range from six months to size six, have been evaluated by CPSTs who give them two thumbs up! See the test crash footage here!
