Comerica Park Opens With a Sold-Out Crowd – Of Minifigures at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan!
What does Comerica Park Opening Day with fans look like? After learning the Tigers will have a FULL stadium to start the season for the first time since the pandemic began, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan’s Master Model Builder, Clint Parry, filled its replica baseball stadium with LEGO® Minifigures once again!
To headline the Opening Day celebration, a Minifigure LEGO®-likeness of the star singer can be found ‘performing’ on field, just like how the real front man (and Detroit native!) will be performing the National Anthem tomorrow.
The 25,000 LEGO® brick Comerica Park replica is inside the attraction’s MINILAND which includes famous Detroit-area landmarks and buildings made out of more than a million LEGO® bricks. Other featured landmarks include the GMRENCEN, Ford Field, and Little Caesars Arena.
