But staying engaged and focused on both your work and your kids is what’s best for them and best for you. Insist Upon a Good Work-Life Balance

It’s definitely important to achieve a good work-life balance if you want to give your kids what they need from you, while also staying on track with your job and career. If you allow things to become too lopsided in one direction, your kids might miss out or you might put your learning potential at risk, which isn’t great for your family either.

Make Time with the Kids Quality Time

When you are spending time with the kids, it’s important that you’re fully focused on them and turning that time into quality time. Being interactive, attentive, and having fun together is what matters. If you’re just going through the motions and your mind is elsewhere, that’s no good and neither of you will get as much out of that time.
