Dr. William Demray Preservation Dental Founder Brings Together Community, Colleagues, Children of All Ages for a Magical Event
Northville’s Mill Race Historical Village

WHAT:
Dr. William Demray, founder Preservation Dental is kicking off the holidays with a fun-filled family Winter CARnival at Mill Race Historical Village in Northville on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
The event located in the Village of restored and replica 19th-century buildings will feature a wondrous array of holiday displays, lights, music, entertainment, and food including Demray’s renowned 1970’s vintage VW bugs decorated as Rudolf and his eight tiny reindeer. The cars will be adorned with whimsical antlers, lit up with professional stage lighting synchronized with music. Also, on display – a 13’ computer-lighted candy cane.
Other attractions include Turkey Trot Dancers fresh from their performance this year during the 97th America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit, Elf on the Shelf, Santa AND Mrs. Claus and a whole bunch of elves, storytelling in English and Spanish, carolers, dancers. A silent auction will be held for holiday gift baskets from Mayberry Farms.
In lieu of charging an admission fee, Demray is asking attendees to bring in a new, unwrapped toy (no stuffed animals) to support the Corriveau Law office’s annual Toys for Tots drive with the national Marine Corps.
Free food including hot dogs, hot chocolate, cookies and more will be available.
After strolling through all the holiday fun at the Mill Race Historical Village, spectators can follow to trail of luminaries to enjoy the nightly holiday music light show displayed in front of Demray’s Preservation Dental office building featuring his holiday masterpiece – a 20 foot tall “Tree of Teeth” Christmas tree – consists of 1,111 8” white plastic molars, lit with ,111 twinkling lights- adorned with a 3.5-foot-tall Barbie Doll Tooth Fairy. The unique annual holiday show is free for the public. Starting November 25, it is shown nightly – every 30 min. between 6p.m.-9p.m.- until January 6. The spectacle features a DMX, wireless computerized, light, and music extravaganza with 96 strobe lights emanating from inside the unique Christmas tree.
“Starting in the summer our patients and the public stop in to ask what we are planning for this year and egg us on to make it even bigger and more special,” Demray said. “As they say, ‘it takes a village’ and this year the community really stepped up with us to create a magical and unique holiday event for Detroit area families.”
This is the 19th year Preservation Dental has provided a holiday event for the community and visitors to Southeastern Michigan.

Interviews with Dr. William Demray, holiday maestro and founder Preservation Dental, Turkey Trot Dancers, Diana Wallace, Executive Director of Northville Community Foundation, Joseph Corriveau of Corriveau Law, sponsor of Toys for Tots annual local campaign, as well as Ireland Perttunen, young local female violinist, Miss Nicole from Performers Edge Dance Company, and dancers, singers as well as delighted spectators of all ages.
