ANDIAMO CELEBRATES 35TH ANNIVERSARY SHARING MEMORIES AND MEALS FROM THE LAST 35 YEARS!

The Growing Andiamo Brand Celebrates by Bringing Back Several of Master Chef Aldo’s Original Recipes.

The Joe Vicari Restaurant Group (JVRG), ranked as the 22nd largest restaurant group in the United States, proudly announces the commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of their renowned Andiamo Italian restaurant brand.

Established in 1989 by Joseph Vicari, this familial venture has flourished,

now boasting eight Andiamo establishments that prioritize great food, great service, family, community, and a zest for life. Guided by the late Master Chef Aldo Ottaviani, Andiamo has earned acclaim for its culinary mastery, offering authentic Italian dishes crafted from scratch with the finest seasonal ingredients.

Andiamo remains a beloved destination for celebrities, locals, and devoted staff alike. From its inception in Warren, MI, Andiamo has consistently set the standard for excellence, a tradition upheld across all its locations.

To celebrate their 35th anniversary,

Andiamo will be bringing back a special menu of some of Master Chef Aldo’s original recipes that have become guest favorites over the years.  The original menu items will be available across all Metro Detroit Andiamo locations for a limited time only beginning on May 6, 2024 and will include:

Antipasti

Cavolfiore Gratinato al Forno (cauliflower baked with Fontina Val D’Aosta and Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses in Besciamella sauce)

Hand Crafted Pasta
Paglia e Fieno (Chicken tenderloins, Prosciutto di Parma, onions, rosemary, pea, light crème, grass and straw linguine)
Pasta Rollatini (Layers of thin, hand-made pasta rolled with Ricotta and Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses, baked with Tomato Basil sauce)

Pesce E Pollo

Trancia Salmone (Sauteed Salmon Fillet, leeks, wild mushrooms, basil and white wine crème, seasonal vegetables)
Petto di Pollo alla Marengo (Chicken breasts, colossal shrimp, mushrooms, onions, tomato fillet, herbed wine sauce)

Dolce

Tiramisu (Espresso-soaked ladyfingers, sweetened Mascarpone crème, shaved chocolate, cocoa power dust)

Andiamo restaurants can be found in the metro Detroit neighborhoods

of Bloomfield, Detroit, Fenton, Livonia, and Warren, where this menu will be available. In addition to these five locations, Andiamo also operates an Italian Steakhouse in Las Vegas, Nevada and an Andiamo location at the Detroit Metro Airport.

The group recently announced a seventh Michigan location, Andiamo Pasta & Chops, set to open in Clinton Township, MI the summer of 2024. The Andiamo Pasta & Chops concept will be something new for Michigan residents, but the idea will be mirrored off Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse in Las Vegas, which offers Andiamo favorites alongside the finest meats from the nation’s top butchers in a beautiful, casual setting.

The restaurant group also introduced a family-friendly casual dining concept with its Andiamo Bistro restaurant, in Washington Township, in 2023.

As a family run business,

Joe has had the pleasure of working alongside his wife, Rosalie, his son Dominic, his daughters Carmela and Theresa, his son-in-law Peter, and his brother John. “Working alongside family members over my 35-year career has been incredibly rewarding and immensely fulfilling on many levels,” added Vicari. “It’s taught me the value of collaboration, resilience, and unwavering support, and I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything.”

The success of the Andiamo restaurants

led to the development of Andiamo Catering and Events, a catering company that caters events large and small across the city, from the Detroit Grand Prix to weddings, corporate events, and private parties.  The company also offers a mobile kitchen where they can come to you and create an Andiamo experience.

Also available, a food truck featuring Andiamo favorites along with some items from other Joe Vicari Restaurant Group brands like, Joe Muer Seafood, and 2941 Mediterranean Street Food.

The Andiamo Celebrity Showroom opened its doors over 25 years ago and has been providing guests with an entertainment experience ever since. The 800-seat venue located in Warren, MI showcases many of today’s top stars and offers a variety of live entertainment acts including artists like The Temptations, Andrew Dice Clay, Paul Anka, Engelbert Humperdinck, Karen Newman, and David Foster & Katharine McPhee, to name just a few.
