Motor City Comic Con (MC3), Michigan’s largest and longest running comic book and pop culture convention since 1989, announces that the Michigan (Troy, MI) Native, Martin Klebba, known for his role as Marty in The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and wrestler Ethan Page will be at this Spring’s convention taking place May 17-19, 2024 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.  To view the schedule or purchase tickets to attend Motor City Comic Con visit  www.MotorCityComicCon.com.  

Another recently announced attraction is The 501st Legion’s Great Lakes Garrison,

which is a must-see organization at Motor City Comic Con. They will be out on the main floor taking photos with guests all weekend and will also be involved in a variety of activations including Blast-A-Trooper, a Panel Discussion, Character Story Time, Kids Trivia Contests, and Kids Cosplay Contest. Motor City Comic Con, one of the largest conventions in the Midwest, takes place yearly in both the Spring and the Fall at the Suburban Collection Showplace. It will feature some of the largest actors from television, movies, and streaming platforms, along with the most creative artists, writers, and comic book creators in the industry. Throughout the three-day weekend celebrity and comic guests participate in autographs and photo opportunities with attendees, for additional fees.

Some celebrity will have presales for autographs and photo ops,

along with tickets to the overall convention available on the website and some guests will have those opportunities available on site at the convention. Attendees can also participate in various panel discussions, attractions, events, and explore various exhibitors. Artists, writers, and illustrators will also be featured throughout Artist Alley over the three-day convention. In addition, there will be crafters that will have extraordinary gifts, crafts, and replicas available, and some of the largest comic book and multimedia dealers from across the country that offer a variety of merchandise including comics, toys, art, unique jewelry, clothing, memorabilia and much more! Fans can also expect all the traditional favorites such as Cosplay Contests and kid-friendly activities, along with many more events and activities to be announced soon.

  • EXTRA LIVES: The Live Experience – Saturday, May 18 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 each
  • iCon Tournaments: Super Smash Brothers Ultimate-Based Gaming Lounge – All Day Friday May 17, Saturday May 18, and Sunday, May 19. Watch for Free or purchase tickets:  $10 per day or $15 for a full-access weekend pass.
  • Planestriders: Live Interactive Dungeons & Dragon Event – Friday, May 17 at 6:00pm. Free with MC3 Admission.
  • Twister Movie Screening with Q&A hosted by Helen Hunt – Saturday, May 18 at 8:00pm. Standard Package $40, Silver Package $115, and Gold Package $220 options are available.  Includes tickets to Q&A panel and free admission to the movie.
  • Ghostbusters Movie Screening with Q&A hosted by Ernie Hudson – Friday, May 17 at 7:30 pm. $40, includes ticket to Q&A panel and free admission to the movie.
  • Tom Kenny and Dave Aikins Q&A Event – Sunday, May 19 at 9:00am. Standard Tickets $130 / VIP Tickets $150.
  • LED Swordsmanship Training Event – Saturday, May 18 from 4:00pm-5:00pm and Sunday, May 19 from 11:30am-12:30am. Tickets are $15 per person.

Motor City Comic Con has an additional convenience feature for guests who want to bypass the event entry ticket lines and get into the convention faster. Wristbands will be available at the box office at the Suburban Collection Showplace, Monday, May 13-Thursday, May 16 from 12pm-8pm, each day.
