More than 400 red, white and blue classic Chevrolet Corvettes will cruise the Woodward loop

in Pontiac and pull into M1 Concourse’s arena and assemble into a visual masterpiece as an American flag as part of Corvettes on Woodward to kick off the festival.
“This is the first year that Festival has been added to the event’s name to truly reflect its multi-day celebration,” shared Tim McGrane, CEO at M1 Concourse. “These three days will draw in more than 500 significant hot rod, customs, cruiser, and muscle cars with a focus on featured classics, in addition to the 400 Corvettes, attracting car enthusiasts around the world, right here in the heart of the Motor City.”

M1 Concourse gives cruisers from around the world

“Cruisers will be immersed in 1964 culture as the Woodward Dream Show & Festival at M1 Concourse will transform to a place filled with entertainers, three live bands playing 1960s music, and a celebration of fashion styles like the mini skirt created in the ‘60s, and a NASA space race exhibit, all in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the 1964 Pontiac GTO, complete with an exhibit of 64 different GTOs,” shared Brian Baker, Director of Events and Festivals at M1 Concourse. “Additionally, we will have the Insiders’ Garage Symposium with conversations that go under the hood, sounds of cackle that you don’t want to miss, remote control cars, and the Meijer Family Fun Zone with games and activities for all kids ages.”

The original Monkeemobile,

a custom Pontiac GTO created for the band The Monkees will be on display. Plus we’ll see a Dick Clark-style entertainer who will get the whole crowd to “name that tune” and do the twist.

To cap off the expansion of the Woodward Dream Show & Festival,
