Patriot Day…We Will Never Forget 9.11.01

Let’s take a time of silence today to honor our country and remember those whose lives were lost on that dreadful day of September 11, 2001.

Do you remember what you were doing that day when our country was attacked?

I was in my second full week of being a new teacher in a private preschool program. I remember it was a sunny and beautiful day here in Michigan. The skies were so empty and the fear that gripped our daily lives were real. We were all trying to contact our families.

That day feels like yesterday.

Lord, please protect our country!
