Motor City Comic Con (MC3),

Michigan’s largest and longest running comic book and pop culture convention since 1989 has announced Wayne Knight will be appearing at the convention at the Suburban Collection Showplace Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10, 2024. In addition, Motor City Comic Con has partnered with Emagine Entertainment to host a special screening event of the 1993 movie, Jurassic Park at Emagine Novi on Friday, November 8 at 8:00 PM.

Wayne Knight will make a special guest appearance and host a Q&A panel discussion in Emagine’s Super EMX auditorium, where each attendee will also receive a commemorative badge and exclusive artwork, along with a free ticket to attend the screening of Jurassic Park following the panel.

Tickets for the Jurassic Park Q&A event with Wayne Knight

 will be $40 and available at www.MotorCityComicCon.com. Admission to Motor City Comic Con is not included in the ticketed event package, however it is required to attend as this is a special event opportunity only available to Motor City Comic Con guests.

In addition to his role playing Nerdy in Jurassic Park, Knight is known for comedic performances as Newman on the TV sitcom Seinfeld and as Officer Don Orville on 3^rd Rock From The Sun and has been in several movies some including Space Jam, JFK, and Rat Race . Knight has also voiced several characters some including Tantor in Tarzan, Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2, Igor on Toonsylvania, Dojo Kanojo Cho in Xiaolin Showdown and Mr. Blink, Granny, and Blik Robot in Catscratch.

Suburban Collection Showplace is located at 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi, Michigan. Following his convention appearance on Friday, November 8, Wayne Knight will host the Q&A panel event for Jurassic Park at Emagine Novi.

In Jurassic Park an industrialist invites some experts to visit his theme park of cloned dinosaurs. After a power failure, the creatures run loose, putting everyone’s lives, including his grandchildren in danger. The film stars Wayne Knight as Nerdy, Sam Neil as Grant, Laura Dern as Ellie, and Jeff Goldblum as Malcomb.

Motor City Comic Con, one of the largest and longest running conventions in the Midwest, takes place yearly in both the Spring and the Fall at the Suburban Collection Showplace. The Fall convention will take place November 8-10, 2024, and will feature some of the largest actors from television, movies, and streaming platforms, along with the most creative artists, writers, and comic book creators in the industry.

Throughout the three-day weekend celebrity and comic guests participate in autographs and photo opportunities with attendees, for additional fees. Some celebrities will have presales for autographs and photo ops, along with tickets to the overall convention available on the website while some celebrities will have those opportunities available on site at the convention. Attendees can also participate in various panel discussions, attractions, events, and explore various exhibitors. Artists, writers, and illustrators will also be featured throughout Artist Alley over the three-day convention.

In addition, there will be crafters that will have extraordinary gifts, crafts, and replicas available, and some of the largest comic book and multimedia dealers from across the country that offer a variety of merchandise including comics, toys, art, unique jewelry, clothing, memorabilia and much more! Fans can also expect all the traditional favorites such as Cosplay Contests and kid-friendly activities, along with many more events and activities.

Wayne Knight will be joining other celebrity guests at the Suburban Collection Showplace

including many television and movie stars like comedic actors Barry Bostwick from Rocky Horror Picture Show, Joel McHale from the TV show Community. Priscilla Presley from the Naked Gun films, Robert Englund who plays the Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Ray Park who plays the demon from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace along with the cast from the 1987 cartoon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rob Paulsen, Townsend Coleman, Cam Clarke, and Barry Gordon, and many more celebrity guests during the convention.
