SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 3 / WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6

TWISTER (1996)

“Tighten your seat belt” for the ORIGINAL blockbuster about daring storm chasers who risk their lives to study the dark side of nature. Primo special effects put you inside the action, as an ensemble cast led by Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton explore the mysterious and deadly world of tornadoes. You haven’t fully experienced this thrilling spectacle until you see it on the big screen in 4K Digital. (“It’s a wonder of nature, baby!”) Rated PG-13

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10 / WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13

PULP FICTION (1994) *30TH Anniversary

Writer-director Quentin Tarantino’s landmark crime drama is also a dark comedy, filled with surprises. John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson star as hitmen who banter about things outside their violent profession (“You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in Paris?”) Nominated for 7 Oscars including Best Picture and winner for its VERY original screenplay. (“They call it a Royale with cheese.”) Rated R

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16 / SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17 / WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20

THE POLAR EXPRESS (2004) *2OTH Anniversary

“All aboard!” On Christmas Eve a boy takes a mysterious train bound for the North Pole, in this adaptation of the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. The performance-capture animation used by director Robert Zemeckis made it possible for Tom Hanks to play six roles, including the conductor (“Tickets, please!”) and Santa Claus. (“The true spirit of Christmas lies in your heart.”) Rated G
