Celebrate the Season with Blake’s Holiday Extravaganza and Annual Tree Lighting, Pick the Perfect Tree, Dine in a Cozy Igloo, Take Pictures with Santa Claus, Make an Ornament with The Grinch, and Much More…

Create lasting memories with friends and family this holiday season at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill with an array of festive events and activities for all ages. The farm has been completely transformed into a magical winter wonderland, creating the perfect backdrop for your celebrations.

Blake’s Holiday Extravaganza – Nov. 23 – 24 and Nov. 29 – Dec. 1 at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit by strolling through twinkling lights, exploring handcrafted treasures from local artisans, visiting with Santa Claus, and picking out the perfect Christmas tree all while enjoying the sounds of authentic carolers and live music. There will also be free seasonal crafts and face painting for children. The excitement peaks with Blake’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. This event is free to attend. Hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. for all other dates.

Igloo Dining – Nov. 22 – March 2 at Blake’s Tasting Room and Blake’s Backyard

Escape the cold and warm up inside a cozy igloo while savoring lunch or dinner paired with Blake’s Hard Cider, seasonal cocktails, local beers, and more. Igloos seat up to 10 people with a minimum food and beverage purchase. Reservations are required, including a $15.00 non-refundable deposit, and can be made at blakefarms.com.

U-Cut and Pre-Cut Christmas Trees – Nov. 22 – Dec. 23 Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill and Blake’s Backyard

Start a new tradition or celebrate an old one at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill’s 100-acre tree farm. Varieties include Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce, White Spruce, Balsam Fir, Concolor Fir, and Scotch Pine. Free saws and wagon rides are available as well as tree cleaning and wrapping services. Guests can also select a pre-cut tree at both Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill and Blake’s Backyard. Pre-cut trees are also available at Blake’s Lyon Twp.

Blake’s Holiday Hustle 5K Run and Walk – Nov. 23 at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill

Hustle into the holiday spirit with a 5K fun run and walk through Blake’s 100-acre enchanted Christmas tree wonderland. This merry event is open to walkers and runners of all ages and includes a commemorative winter beanie, holiday ornament, donut, and sweet or hard cider. Prizes will be awarded. Register at blakefarms.com. The cost is $45 per participant now through Nov. 22 and $50 on Nov. 23. The race begins at 9:30 a.m.

Santa Experience – Nov. 23 – 24, 29 – 30, Dec. 1, 7 – 8, 14- 15 Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill

Santa Claus is coming to town! Guests are invited to take their own photos with Santa, write a letter and send it to the North Pole, and select a special toy. Admission is $19.95 for children ages three and up and $7.95 for adults. Entry includes a make-and-take craft, donut, and cup of sweet cider or hot cocoa. Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Christmas with The Frozen Sisters – Dec. 14 – 15 at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill

Join Blake’s for an exclusive Frozen party with special guests Anna and Elsa. Children will have the opportunity to meet the princesses, take part in a dance and singalong, enjoy a special story time, and make a Frozen-themed Christmas ornament. Four workshops will be offered each day at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Admission is $19.95 for children three and up, and $7.95 for adults. Kids two and under are free. Entry includes a donut and a cup of sweet cider or hot chocolate.

Grinch Ornament Workshop – Dec. 17 – 18 at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill

Join the Grinch himself at a fun ornament-making workshop. Four workshops will be offered each day at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Admission is $19.95 for children three and up, and $10.95 for adults. Kids two and under are free. Entry includes a donut and a cup of sweet cider or hot chocolate.

Blake’s Holiday Pies – Available at all Blake’s locations

Let Blake’s do the baking this year with a delicious selection of pies baked fresh on the farm. at all four Blake’s locations. Each pre-order will receive a free half dozen donuts. Flavors include Apple, Dutch Apple, Pumpkin, Strawberry Rhubarb, Cherry, Peach, Blueberry, Red White & Berry (Cherry, Apple, Blueberry), Pecan, and Caramel Apple Walnut. Pre-order at blakefarms.com.
