Michigan’s largest immersive and illuminated forest experience, Glenlore Trails, known for creating over-the-top Fall/Halloween and Winter/Holiday themed walk-thru nighttime forest experiences for guest of all ages, has announced Detroit-based Jay’s Juniors as their charitable partner for the season. This year’s holiday themed experience “Aurora” recently opened and will run through December 29th.

The transformed a one-mile forest trail

will blend technology with nature creating a magical hands-on adventure throughout the forest, that is perfect for all ages. Visitors will encounter touch-sensitive light installations, motion-triggered displays, enchanted holiday sounds, interactive games, and a special twist – magic wands that let you unlock hidden surprises along the trail. “Aurora” commonly known as the northern lights or southern lights, is a natural light display in the Earth’s sky, and that is the experience that will captivate guests under a shimmering sky of brilliant lights, as they venture into the forest of Glenlore Trails. Aurora is unique one-of-a-kind Holiday Winter Wonderland experience, exclusively at Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township.

Friday, December 20th has been designated “Jay’s Juniors Day,”

and a portion of proceeds from that day will benefit Jay’s Juniors, a program that provides unforgettable experiences for children battling severe health conditions and their families. Additionally, all online ticket sales for each event night provides guests the option to donate to Jay’s Juniors, furthering the opportunity to help support local children with life-altering and life-threatening conditions.

In 2014, Jay’s Juniors was founded with the mission to provide a fun-filled environment for these brave children, and some time away from the harsh realities of doctors’ visits, treatments, and long hospital stays. Each year Jay’s Juniors takes a group of children, along with their families, fills an entire airplane, and heads to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  They are provided an all-expense paid trip with airfare, airport parking, hotel rooms at the Disney resorts, park admission tickets and activations, ground transportation, food, spending money, and most importantly happiness and memories for each, and every member of the family.
