MI Bright Lights Announces ‘Santa’s BIG Send-Off’ with Free Ice Skating for Kids Dec. 23rd!

‘Santa’s BIG Send Off,’ at MI Bright Lights, is taking place on, Dec. 23!

This all-new immersive drive-thru light show and family experience is located at the Iconic Eloise Venue in Westland.

Santa’s BIG Send-Off is the final day for kids to share their wish lists and take photos with Santa inside Santa Land. There will also be FREE ICE SKATING for kids ages 12 and under and one lucky family will win four tickets to Henry Ford Museum.

If unfamiliar, MI Bright Lights, which spans ¾ of a mile and includes 250,000 twinkling lights, is synchronized to a special soundtrack filled with holiday favorites. In addition to the drive-thru experience and ice skating, guests can enjoy s’mores, hot cocoa, and a 350-foot zip line for purchase. There will also be complimentary photo areas, warming stations, a heated tent, inflatable putt-putt golf, an interactive North Pole mailbox, and more.

Holiday Hours:

  • The Drive-thru light show is open every day through Jan. 5 from 5 – 10 p.m., including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
  • The skating rink is open weekdays from 5 – 10 p.m. and weekends from 2 – 10 p.m. through January 5th. It is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It will remain open through March (schedule TBD).

MI Bright Lights is located at 30712 Michigan Ave., in Westland. Tickets are $20 per vehicle and can be purchased at https://mibrightlights.com/.
