Meijer Launches New Exclusive Apparel Line for Born In Detroit

has just announced an exclusive line of new spring and summer merchandise only available at select Meijer locations in the Metro Detroit area.  The new line featuring t-shirts and sweatshirts in men’s, women’s, and youth sizes will feature new designs with the classic Born IN Detroit^TM iconic logo, exclusive to Meijer and available in-store only.

Born IN Detroit^TM was trademarked in 2015 and brought to life in 2020 by group of true Detroiters, two sets of brothers Michael and Anthony Tomey and George and Alex Bourkoulas and their friend, Michael “Mikey” Shumaker. The brand was created with the mission of showcasing the pride of Detroiters near and far, and to establish a brand partner to champion the city and surrounding communities. The founders were all born in Detroit, attended area schools, played sports throughout the area, and have a fierce gritty work ethic that overflows with pride for all things Detroit.  Born IN Detroit^TM was created to honor Detroit as more than just a city, that it’s a feeling of pride, hard work and perseverance.  The dynamic and rapidly growing lifestyle brand has quickly become a beloved name, celebrated for its distinctive blend of fashion, community spirit, and Detroit pride.
