Grand Rapids, MI – The Grand Rapids Public Library is excited to announce a free class, “Building Basic Computer Skills,” aimed at empowering community members with essential digital literacy skills. Scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Main Library located at 111 Library St NE, this event is designed for individuals seeking to demystify technology and enhance their confidence in using computers and the internet.

In today’s increasingly digital world,

understanding basic computer terminology and software is crucial for personal and professional growth. This class will provide participants with foundational knowledge, enabling them to navigate the Internet, mobile devices, and various software applications with ease. Attendees will learn key terms and concepts that form the backbone of digital communication, helping to bridge the gap between those who are tech-savvy and those who are not.
