Based on the beloved classic children’s book by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel, this all-new production brings to life the timeless tale that has enchanted readers for generations.

Few children’s books have endured with the magic and charm of The Cat in the Hat. Written by the top-selling children’s author of all time, Dr. Seuss’s 200-word masterpiece captures the imagination of children and adults alike. This dynamic stage adaptation, credited by the Dr. Seuss estate as the number one production worldwide, has delighted audiences in over 60 cities with more than 300 performances.

The story follows a brother and sister left home alone on a rainy day—without their mother—when the mischievous Cat visits them, wearing his signature red and white striped hat. Joined by his chaotic companions Thing One and Thing Two, the Cat turns their quiet day upside down. Their pet fish, the ever-watchful babysitter, is less than thrilled with the antics. But as the Cat says, “It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how.” With zany energy, laughter, and a touch of delightful disorder, the Cat’s red ‘Picker-Up Machine’ ensures that everything is back in place just in time for Mom’s return.
