ABOUT THE KRATT BROTHERS

Chris and Martin Kratt, zoologists by training, have built an entertainment brand rooted in a lifelong love of animals and “creature adventure.” Since founding Kratt Bros. Co. in 1993, the duo has created and executive produced more than 200 episodes of four beloved series: Kratts’ Creatures, Zoboomafoo with the Kratt Brothers, Kratts Bros. Be The Creature, and Wild Kratts.
Through television, books, live tours, and conservation efforts, the brothers have reached millions of families worldwide. Their work has earned Emmy Awards, Parents’ Choice Gold Awards, and international recognition for blending wildlife education with family-friendly entertainment. In 1997, the brothers and their fans even created a 1,222-acre wildlife refuge—Grizzly Gulch—forever protecting habitat for grizzly bears on the Rocky Mountain Front.
Both graduates in biology and zoology, Chris (Carleton College) and Martin (Duke University) continue to combine their academic backgrounds with their passion for storytelling, turning curiosity into conservation action and learning into adventure.
