WHAT:
Main Street Franklin, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to creating a healthy, dynamic downtown in historic Franklin, MI, is set to come alive with festive fun and frightful delight during their annual Franklinstein Frenzy takes place on Saturday, October 25. Friends, families, and neighbors are invited to experience the charm of Franklin’s historic village during this celebration filled with costumes, candy, and community spirit.
The Frenzy kicks off with a Halloween Parade through downtown Main Street at 12:00pm. Kids can grab their FREE trick-or-treat bags, before joining the procession down Franklin’s charming street. Following the parade, children are encouraged to walk down Main Street and trick-or-treat at the local businesses, while grabbing some spooky savings on some great items, as they make their way to the Franklin Public Library. The Franklin Cider Mill will be providing their famous cider and donuts to guests and the Franklin Public Library will provide arts and crafts for kids to participate in on-site or take home to complete.
The fun doesn’t end there, the Pumpkin Roll at the Kreger House takes place at 12:45pm. Families can register onsite starting at 12:30 and watch as their pumpkins tumble their way to the finish line until every last one has rolled away. Pumpkins are available while supplies last. Throughout the day the community will have a chance to take photos with Frankenstein and his Bride as they join in on the fun. Guests are encouraged to wear their costumes and enjoy a great afternoon with the community of Franklin.
Whether you’re attending for the candy, the cider, the crafts or the rolling pumpkins, Franklinstein Frenzy is the perfect way to enjoy this Halloween tradition in a truly unique setting that celebrates the community spirit that makes Historic downtown Franklin so special.
