In celebration of Chrysler’s centennial anniversary,

this dynamic and visually stunning exhibit highlights the company’s most significant contributions to the automotive world—from bold design and engineering breakthroughs to performance milestones and family-friendly innovations.

Spanning a full century of automotive history, the exhibit features a wide array of rare and iconic Chrysler vehicles, including:

  • The revolutionary 1934 Chrysler Airflow, a pioneering example of streamlined design
  • The elegant 1941 Town & Country, a wood-bodied wagon that set new standards for style
  • The powerful 1951 HEMI V8 engine, which defined a generation of high-performance vehicles
  • The futuristic 1963 Chrysler Turbine Car, known for its jet-like sound and bold innovation
  • The ever-popular 1980s minivan, which transformed the family vehicle landscape

Visitors will also discover non-automotive Chrysler innovations, such as the Barracuda watercraft showcasing the company’s creative reach beyond the road.

A Century of Engineering Excellence

Founded by Walter P. Chrysler in 1925, the Chrysler Corporation quickly became one of Detroit’s “Big Three” automakers by combining cutting-edge technology with attractive, accessible design. Chrysler led the industry in numerous firsts, including:

  • Floating Power engine mounts
  • Replaceable oil filters
  • Downdraft carburetors
  • One-piece curved windshields

Throughout its history, Chrysler has remained at the forefront of automotive engineering and design. The exhibit also explores the brand’s evolution through key corporate transitions—from its 1928 acquisition of Dodge Brothers, to mergers with Daimler-Benz and Fiat, and its current role within the global Stellantis group.
