And That’s a Wrap for Motor City Comic Con 2025!
Motor City Comic Con season has come and gone already for 2025, but it was a fantastic experience like always! It’s great being able to attend as press for the event. Check out my post from this past May for basically an outline of the phenomenal event in Metro Detroit (Novi, Michigan).
This time,
I decided to take a closer look at the panels and the awesome vendors. Unfortunately, the one I was looking forward to the most was so full, I couldn’t make it into the room. It’s definitely important to head to the panel as early as possible to guarantee a seat. I showed up a half hour early, and it was already full. So if you have favorite stars, be sure to plan ahead. This panel was with:
- Skeet Ulrich
- Matthew Lillard
- Rose McGowan,
- Jamie Kennedy.
Check out Motor City Comic Con’s Instagram page for their fan selfie!
Personal fun fact: Matthew Lillard is a cousin to a school friend of mine. He recently posted pics from MC3 with Matthew it looked like a great family reunion!
The panel brought nostalgia to the fans, horror love, along with some entertainment. What’s your favorite scary movie?
I did get a chance to sit in on Stephen Amell and David Ramsay’s panel.
They were so much fun. It was great hearing factoids about the show Arrow (2010-2018). Even the show’s director attended the panel. David Ramsey was also in Blue Bloods. He initially played the mayor of NYC in the show. This was a full room, but I made it early enough. It was fun hearing the fans ask different questions and Stephen and David replying with hysterical answers. So glad I caught this one.
Juliet Lewis was another one to see. She has always intrigued me as an actress. One of my favorite films with her was The Other Sister. Check that one out if you haven’t. It’s an older film, but it’s worth it. Her acting in that film was phenomenal. She is also known for Natural Born Killers and Yellowjackets. She is definitely “unscripted and unstoppable.”
Vendors
My youngest daughter (16), also my Instagram intern, had her eye on those mystery boxes by Stylin Enterprises and it didn’t disappoint. She got the Harry Potter mystery box for $75. Check out what was inside:
Definitely worth the purchase: Fanny pack, tie, plush toy, and belt. So fun!
I snatched a fun Harry Potter Time Turner Pin from another vendor. It was around $10 and super cool. Hubby loved it!
I of course got my MC3 T-Shirt and a Yoshi plushie. Yoshi has always been my favorite since childhood. Isn’t he the cutest? He wanted a pic with the shirt soooo… 😉 Isn’t the shirt awesome? This is the back of the shirt. The front has MC3 on it.
I spoke with so many vendors and made connections at MC3. It’s always a joy. There’s so much talent out there! Here are a few I came in contact with at Motor City Comic Con:
Along our MC3 adventures, we came across this awesome Superman car which was in one of the movies! Check out our Instagram post to see the car! Definitely worth it!
I look forward to the 2026 season. Yoshi says “See You There!”
