Busch’s Fresh Food Market is helping guests celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with traditional Irish foods and beverages available March 9–22. Premium corned beef and brisket, along with cabbage and potatoes, will be featured throughout Busch’s stores. Ready-to-eat St. Patrick’s Day meals, freshly prepared by Busch’s deli team, will include corned beef with roasted redskin potatoes, carrots and cabbage, portioned for two. Irish soda bread, made in-house at the company’s Bakehouse in Clinton, will be available through March 17. Additional Irish-themed items include Kerrygold butter and Dubliner cheddar cheese, Guinness stout, Maggie’s Irish Ale, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Dearborn Brand sauerkraut, decorated white and green cupcakes, and shamrock plants.

“We love to celebrate cultural foods at Busch’s, and our Irish celebration is always enjoyable for guests and associates alike,” said Busch’s Director of Merchandising Chris Romano. “If guests want to cook their favorite Irish dishes, we have all the ingredients they need. But if they prefer, we have a delicious ready-made corned beef meal, they can find within the deli.”

The Irish Celebration features premium flat-cut brisket from Michigan favorites Grobbel’s of Detroit,

and Sy Ginsberg of Ann Arbor, trusted Midwest brands with generations of curing expertise, alongside a Grobbel’s corned beef meal kit and boneless USDA Choice Black Angus brisket, with Busch’s meat experts ready to share cooking tips and pairing ideas.

Busch’s Signature Irish soda bread, made from scratch with heavy cream and butter, remains a guest favorite. More than 3,000 loaves are sold during the week of St. Patrick’s Day. Bakehouse Manager Jessica Benn said that when she joined the company 15 years ago, she prepared the bread herself with limited assistance. Today, a team hand-forms the loaves to meet increased demand.

“It’s a time-honored Busch’s recipe—slightly sweet with raisins and finished with a delicate sugared crust that creates the perfect bite,” said Benn. “It’s become a guest favorite.”

The bread is made in small batches to maintain quality and prevent over-kneading. Irish soda bread scones are also available.
