Spring Break Takes Flight at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, MI!

Kalamazoo, MI, – Families looking for an unforgettable spring break adventure will find it at the Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Center. From March 24 through April 9, the Air Zoo will host Spring Break Family Fun Days, sponsored by Next Level Sports Center, featuring hands-on activities, creative challenges, and interactive science experiences designed for all ages.
Spring Break Family Fun Days run from 10 am–2 pm,
on select days and are included with general admission, offering additional opportunities for guests to explore, create, and discover. A full schedule of activities is available at airzoo.org/springbreak.
“Spring Break Family Fun Days are all about sparking curiosity and giving families a chance to explore science together in a fun, engaging way,” said Seth Welton, Marketing & Communications Manager. “Each day offers something different, so guests can come back and experience something new every time.”
Each themed day invites guests to explore a different area of science and creativity:

March 24, March 31, April 7 | 10 am–2 pm
Guests will explore what astronauts take to the International Space Station and design their own mission to a newly imagined planet, combining real space science with creativity and problem-solving.

March 25, April 1, April 8 | 10 am–2 pm
Guests will discover the science of light, motion, and the visible spectrum through hands-on activities that explore how colors mix, change, and interact.

March 26, April 2, April 9 | 10 am–2 pm
Guests will explore how engineering shapes the world through interactive challenges focused on design, building, and problem-solving.

In addition to Spring Break Family Fun Days, guests can experience so much more during their visit. The popular Hall of Heroes exhibit has been extended through May, offering an additional opportunity to explore the stories of legendary heroes and icons. Guests can also discover four new interactive exhibits, providing fresh, hands-on ways to engage with science and flight. Combined with more than 100 rare and iconic aircraft and spacecraft, full-motion flight simulators, hands-on exhibits, and indoor amusement rides, the Air Zoo offers a full day of exploration for guests of all ages.
